Hotel de Xi (喜之旅) in Detroit is all these, like the City of Detroit. To unveiled Detroit’s wealth of culture and diversity a juxtaposition of styles is crafted in Hotel de Xi. This estate is designed in modern and traditional styles combined. It is evident from the moment as guests step into the hotel’s entryway. A modern check-in counter and a traditional lounge lobby welcome guests right after they enter into the hotel. The main hallway showcases Detroit’s glory with images of Renaissance buildings, Fox theater and graffiti art created by Detroit youth. The restaurant and bar are an empire of Michelangelo highlighted by his painting the Creation of Adam. Guest rooms each has unique characters that embrace the guests’ persona.
